Welcome to the Red Lion, High Lane.

Following a refurbishment in March 2018, the Red Lion is the perfect venue for drinking and dining. With a cosy drinking and casual dining area and a formal dining area for those special occasions, the Red Lion is the perfect venue to celebrate in no matter what the occasion.

For those hot summer days we all like to think about, there is a pleasant outdoor drinking and dining area. If arriving by car, a large car park is available. The pub is situated on the A6 which makes the pub an ideal stop off for those visiting the Peak District National Park or the nearby Lyme Hall and country park National Trust property where, the famous BBC production of Pride and Prejudice was filmed.

Poor hygiene,poor service,poor after service

If you wish to eat your food with a long human hair taking residence then this is the place for you. I did complain after sending the meal back,however the manager was not forthcoming with a resolution. No, they don't have a policy for ensuring that long hair is tied up. No, they failed to ask us if we wished to have anything else. In fact, we were ignored. Perhaps a strongly worded letter to both the local authority, and to Robinsons may give them the rocket up the rear they obviously need.

Dissapointed .

Service was very disappointing we asked for 2 cocktails and 3 members of staff didnt know how the cocktail was made or the correct ingredients. They were quite abrubt and we wasn't made to feel welcome at all
