About

Under the new ownership of Richard, along with his brothers Pete and Danny Gilbert, The Potter’s Arms has proudly become a Freehouse, breaking free from its previous ties to the brewery. In recent years, the pub has undergone an extensive makeover, both inside and out, resulting in the stunning establishment it is today which has retained its cherished village pub ambiance. The Potter's Arms also now offers four comfortable bed and breakfast rooms located above the pub, where guests can enjoy a restful night's sleep, with an added bonus of a delicious full cooked breakfast.

When it comes to food, The Potters Arms takes pride in offering a menu that celebrates the best of British cuisine. From traditional pub classics like hearty pies and fish and chips to more contemporary dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients, there's something to satisfy every palate.

The brunch menu begins with a full Potters breakfast, which includes Cumberland sausages, smoked bacon and hash browns, along with grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, fried eggs and toast. If you fancy yourself a bit of a sweet lover, choose the American pancakes topped with blueberries, maple syrup and your choice of bacon or banana.

On Sundays, enjoy one to three courses of a lovely lunch, beginning with smoked salmon and cream cheese parcels before heading onto a traditional roast served with fluffy potatoes, stuffings, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, homemade gravy and Yorkshire puddings. Finish off with a delicious double chocolate fudge brownie served with creamy vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

As for drinks, The Potters Arms boasts a well-stocked bar with a variety of options to quench your thirst. They proudly serve a selection of locally brewed ales and craft beers, making it a haven for beer enthusiasts. If you prefer something different, their expert bartenders can craft a range of cocktails to tantalise your taste buds.
