The King of Ladies Man

Squaremeal Review of The King of Ladies Man ?

As with The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town, the question at its sibling is 'where's the entrance?' In fact, this fun hangout is hidden away in a back room behind a launderette. It you get into a spin, that’ll be down to a heady mix of disco drinks and lurid decor that belongs to a 70s blaxploitation movie – think kitsch objets d’art, pink flamingo wallpaper, gold drapes and old Playboy magazines. The Ladies Man’s little black book lists sips such as blue lagoon, Tequila sunrise and sand in your pants (vodka-based Taboo, blue Curaçao, Xante pear liqueur, lemon and Prosecco) alongside a curious selection of bottled beers including Pearl Necklace oyster stout. To eat, order toasted sarnies to go with Heinz tomato soup or invest in pulled pork sliders, ‘mac ‘n’ cheese pot noodles’ and chipotle king prawns.
