The cocktail list is a lengthy read at this dinky duplex DJ lounge on High Holborn. Rock up at happy hour (5-8pm) for drinks discounted from an average usual price of around £7.50. Picks from the line-up include Siddhartha (Monkey Shoulder whisky, Goldschläger, pineapple and ginger), Singapore sling, bramble, Danny Valentine (a Beefeater gin sour) and fraise royale – one of numerous Champagne cocktails on offer. A short wine list has house red and white at £16 and rosé from £4 a glass (modest prices pitched at a youngish after-work crowd), while the Thai menu punts sharing platters, duck spring rolls, satays, prawn tempura, various riffs on curry, noodle dishes and banana fritters for pud. Karaoke and stand-up comedy also draw the crowds.
