SquareMeal Review of
Rochelle Canteen at The ICA
Popular Shoreditch restaurant Rochelle Canteen has found a second home at The ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) in St James’s. The space is relaxed and light-filled with only a handful of covers and a semi-open kitchen. The menu changes seasonally, although you can expect similar food to the original, including the likes of pumpkin soup, and pheasant and trotter pie. Other dishes to try include roasted beetroot with red onion and soft-boiled egg, braised rabbit with carrots and borlotti beans, and a dessert of apple tart with Jersey cream. To drink, there are classic cocktails and Peroni beers, with Caravan coffee to send you out into the night.
