Unprofessional, swearing rude manager. Service strange, food average
I have never left a negative review on anything before, but I feel the need to write this. We just got back from my girlfriend’s birthday meal, and I’m still in shock from behaviour of the manager. We ordered a groupon, and upon arriving the management decided that the geoupon was incorrect (he decided alcoholic beverages weren’t included in a deal where it clearly specifies ANY drink.) This could have been resolved quickly, but the manager insisted in bending over my girlfriend and pointing in her face. He raised his voice and told her ‘are you quite finished?’ when she was explaining the problem. He then asked her ‘did you go to school?’ when she was trying to work out the bill. He also swore. I explained to him his body language and verbal language was disrespectful, and he ignored my comments. This man came across as misogynistic (would he have spoken this way if we were not just 3 women?)- and unprofessional would be an understatement. My only positive is that the food was fine. Compliments to the chef, but the manager was out of order. I wish I could give a negative star, as I have never come across such a condescending, unprofessional, rude manager in my life. Service was also weird- I was given a 0% Cobra beer after ordering a normal one- and was then told that I still need to pay for it as it was opened, even though it was their error.

pink turban sparkle
This restaurant truly deserves the title of pink turban sparkle, because it really does sparkle from the outside to withen it was a lovely magical eveing. This started with the warm greeting as we arrived to the non intrusive but attentive service, and the decor is to be seen to believe, tasteful and oppulent and sparkly as it is lit with candles and crystels which together create a shimmering effect. Then we come to the important part which is the reason you go to a restaurant in the first place which of course is the food! and this is where this should be your reason to try this restaurant. The food is varied with a good choice of starters and mains and is flavourful and well presented in fact the whole meal with good wine was truly superb and I would love to return for another lovely eveing, now of course I was with someone who I am discovering is very interesting so that would have some bearing on my views of this restaurant, but I would like to add that he shares my thoughts and the good choice that we made when we dined there together and hope to repeat this wonderful night in the future. So do give this restaurant a try if you enjoy tasteful varied food and the bonus of beautiful surroundings.
