SquareMeal Review of Oxygen

Oxygen comes in cans as a pick-me-up at this chemically named rendezvous – but judging by the lit-up 20somethings & gurning students, you might fancy those tins contained laughing gas. They have five hours to get ‘happy’ (3-8pm), & make the most of it by getting high on hit 31 (Bacardi/Midori, crème de banane) or naked oxygen (Eristoff, peach schnapps, elderflower & lemonade). Chill out on a sidewalk terrace before entering the fray: the action is in the main bar whose monochrome 60s’ decor relies on punters providing the colour. Downstairs in the ‘dark, sexy’ club bar, expect a rainbow riot at the popular We Love Saturdays mash-up.
