Fundamental of cooking: Cold rice can cause vomiting/diarrhoea! This was dealt with appallingly!!!

We ordered the fish parcel and beef stroganoff.
Fish parcel arrived lukewarm.
The rice was cold! and arrived with a small portion of beef.
Very disappointed. We mentioned it to the staff who took it away swiftly then microwaved the whole dish leaving the beef stroganoff overcooked. Not very tasty. Serving cold rice can cause food poisoning. The staff was unsure if the rice should be hot.
We didn't want to order desert incase they did something to it, especially seeing how they made our mains.
The staff avoided us for the remainder for the meal and didn't ask us how we were.
We were offered no compensation either.
It is incidents like this that shows if restaurants are professional.
This is not acceptable especially seeing all the good reviews online.
Imagine if they served that to an elderly or pregnant lady!
