We visited Las Iguanas before seeing Monty Python. As we only had about an hour before we had to find our seats and it seemed just having one course was not an option we asked for our starters and mains to be brough all together. Well our starters arrived after a half hour wait – pretty average fare – and after another half an hour we had to leave. The waitress seemed not to care, she just stared at us like a lobotimised guppy and took another ten minutes to bring us our bill which we didn't have time to dispute and just wordlessly took payment for the lot (I was up for just walking out and leaving a twenty to cover what we'd had but my friend didn't want the grief). You'd think a restaurant in the O2 would have a basic understanding of time constraints and urgency. Frankly they just didn't seem to care. We weren't the only ones either, the couple behind us also had to leave without having their mains. Just as we were leaving a waitress came out with our mains and called the table. One of the other staff called out ‘too late’ half heartedly as if it was a regular occurrence. Luckily Monty Python were so good we forgot our rumbling tummies. I hope the staff enjoyed our order.

Have had tasty meals at Las Iguanas O2 a few times before going to cinema. Love their cocktails, usually make use of happy hour prices as quite expensive! Have had “THE EXTRAORDINARY XINXIM” which is lime chicken with peanut sauce and love the plantains that come with it. My husband and son have enjoyed their burgers. As portions are quite big don't normally have any room for dessert especially after a couple of cocktails!
