SquareMeal Review of Knife

Steaks and Sunday roasts are the specialty at this Clapham eatery. Kick off with mini Yorkshire puddings with dipping gravy, or pan-seared Brixham squid salad before moving on to the main attraction. The rare-breed steaks are sourced from specialist Lake District farmers, for example Holstein bavette, belted Galloway rib-eye or Longhorn fillet. Those not in the market for steaks are hardly hard done by however, with day-boat fish or excellent pork belly with black pudding and fillet on offer. The short cocktail list covers all the bases while the wine list, though starting at gentle prices for glasses and carafes, has some seriously beefy bottles for those after the full experience.
