SquareMeal Review of
A clever café/restaurant that ticks loads of boxes – it’s open all day and comfortable enough to dine in, but is super-speedy for those who haven’t the time. Stop by for an energy-boosting acai bowl or an indulgent lardon tartlet at breakfast, washed down with an organic cold-pressed juice. By lunchtime there are groovy salads and the likes of slow-cooked teriyaki salmon with basil oil or chilli bean, guacamole and brown rice burrito to tuck into. The counters are covered with diet-busting temptations, making it a very attractive place to eat, but for those in a hurry, the self-service wine dispenser and checkout prove a Godsend. Those looking for a little after-work excitement return for organic cocktails and sharing platters till 10pm, with a DJ on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
