SquareMeal Review of
New Devi Tandoori
A local Indian with everything it needs to make it a favourite of the community. It’s a family-run business and although the restaurant has been going for more than 40 years, the recent refurbishment makes the place look brand new – and the owners are enormously proud of it. The cooking meanders across the whole subcontinent, offering curry house favourites such as prawn purée and lamb biryani, but the chef is very happy to introduce customers who are feeling a little more adventurous to his special Indo-Bangla fusion creations. Service is friendly and prices are very reasonable. It’s no surprise, then, that it’s busy and buzzy.
