SquareMeal Review of Chuc's Serpentine

The latest location for swish Italian group Chucs is on the former site of The Magazine Restaurant in Hyde Park. The interiors seek to emulate 1950s Italy, while an all-day menu sees guests through from breakfast to dinner. Menu items that are exclusive to this branch, such as green harissa lamb rump with mint gel and cucumber, sit alongside Chuc’s staples such as bigoli cacio e pepe and tuna tartare with baby gem. To drink, there are wines from around the globe and classic cocktails such as Negronis and Old Fashioneds. Afternoon tea and a three-course set menu for under £30 are both available, while this Chucs also boasts a takeaway menu of paninis to enjoy outside in the park.
