SquareMeal Review of
Camino’s infectious spirit soon rubs off; before you know it, some tapas and a glass of fino quickly turns into a discovery of Spain’s eating and drinking culture that might necessitate a return visit for some churros and cortados. This is a buzzing, youthful take on all things Spanish, where food, drink and fun are all part of the mix; yes, you can pop in for a quick G&T (size XL, Spanish-style), but DJs and late hours mean that you can also make a night of it. The all-day tapas menu has some interesting regional picks, including salt cod and Idiazábal cheese ‘buñuelos’, ‘samfaina’-style sautéed vegetables with duck egg, and arroz negro with cuttlefish and alioli, while the char-grill delivers tender Ibérico pork shoulder and a mixed grill for two. Just add an impressive selection of wines, sherries and cava.
