BYOC London Soho cocktail bar restaurant bartenders

SquareMeal Review of BYOC Soho

Here’s the deal: book a two-hour slot online, go armed with a spirit base (from basics such as brandy to baijiu and similarly bizarre brews), and let the bartenders conjure up bespoke brilliance. Unlicensed to sell alcohol (but permitted to mix alcoholic drinks, in return for an entry fee of £25 pp), we reckon BYOC (‘bring your own cocktails’) is closer to the real deal than most so-called ‘speakeasies’. With fellow guests encouraged to pool alcoholic resources, expect some very interesting results.

Great evening with friends. Cocktails were amazing and as the group behind us were running later we were allowed to stay an extra half hour which was very nice of the them. I would recommend asking for your next cocktail when halfway through your current one as it can take a while, but they are definitely worth the wait!

The food and drink were delicious. We were very looked after and it was the perfect place to host my birthday. Will definitely return.
