Newly sprouted from the Soho original, this second branch of BRGR & Co offers a similarly US-based repertoire. Choose from eight burgers or an all-beef hot dog, accompanied by mac & cheese, salads, sloppy joes (messy ground-beef sandwiches) – and, of course, fries, in various stages of cheese saturation. Cuts of meat (rather than variety of fillings) are the focus, with minced beef burgers starting at £6.75 for a 4oz patty, up to £9.50 for the 8oz ‘Masterpiece’, via a chicken Caesar, falafel or veggie burger (filled with aubergine, courgette and mushroom). Our ‘Butcher’s Cut’ burger contained a nicely charred, thick and moist patty, the sweet, soft bun soaking up the juices admirably. Don’t miss the aromatic, piquant mac & cheese, and wash it down with American Huber lager or a creamy milkshake. Revolutionary? No, but BRGR & Co brings great value and thoughtfully considered options to London’s crowded burger scene.
