SquareMeal Review of Bob Bob Cité

Bob Bob Ricard is known and loved by Londoners – and for good reason. Who doesn’t love the idea of having a secret button to press for delivery of Champagne by the glass? It’s both glamorous and fun, and the food, a mix of modern European and Russian, as befits its clientele, is pretty good too. We're delighted to hear that Leonid Shutov (pictured), the brains behind the restaurant, is opening Cityside in the Leadenhall Building. The kitchen will be overseen by Eric Chavot, formerly of Brasserie Chavot, and the menu will feature signature Bob Bob dishes with added twists. The new establishment is on the third floor and has room for 180 in the main restaurant, plus a smattering of private rooms to boot. Plenty of scope there for getting a party started.
