SquareMeal Review of
A family-run riverside pub close to Hammersmith Bridge, the Blue Anchor has been there since 1722 and offers punters an authentic pub experience. With a classic interior and large outdoor area, it’s a great place to while away a Sunday, watching the river traffic float by. When it comes to food think pub grub: sausage and mash, steak and ale pie or fish and chips, perhaps. Real ale fans won’t be disappointed (they have four on tap), and there’s a solid selection of lager, cider and wine. But it’s the location is what makes it.
