Bella Italia - Strand

We were seated downstairs by a small table for 2 and were surrounded by noisy theatre goers (lots of them). It was difficult to have a conversation but fortunatelly the majority of diners left in about 30 minutes. We ordere a glass of house white wine which was of good quality. My companion had salmon which was nice and I had beef and red wine ravioli which were salty and rather unexciting. We finished the dinner with desserts - traditional tiramisu and the wild cherry cake which was so good that my companion suggested to have it as a main when we dine there next time. Using a printed voucher deleted 30% off our meal bill and we both agreed that the dinner was a good value for money.

Having booked a table for four at 6pm, arrived 10mins early but no problem offered us a choice of tables as our two friends had'nt arrived yet the waitress said no problem she gave us some drinks and when our friends arrived we ordered our food and was served quickly, the food was good and hot, Bill arrived promptly and extremly good price, Overall good quick meal at reasonable price

Very convenient for Adelphi Theatre as one of our party cannot walk far. Food and drink was ok but there were insufficient staff. A large Hen party came in and they were stretched. We were charged for a drink we didn't receive but there was no problem in having this deducted from the bill.
