SquareMeal Review of
With its combination of cool, classy decor, generous cooking & upbeat service, this stylishly converted barn a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Stratford has plenty of local support. The
kitchen’s ideas are hardly revolutionary – a stirring mix of modish starters, sharing plates & welcome classics mixed in with fish & grill favourites – but dishes display a genuine feel for
flavour, whether it’s braised blade of beef with truffle mash & roasted root vegetables or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & tarragon butter. Added to this is a full-bodied wine list with a
good range of fizz.
