About The Langham Hotel

Description

The Langham Hotel in Marylebone has been delighting guests from all over the world since 1865. Thanks to its 380 stunning rooms and suites, spa gym, boardrooms and ballrooms, it's easy to see why. But this hotel's pièce de résistance is the food. Dining at The Langham Hotel is spearheaded by the legendary Michel Roux Jr who needs no introduction. And what better way to enjoy Chef Roux's cuisine than in an intimate, private setting?

The private dining menu at The Langham Hotel offers delights such as beef carpaccio with truffle aioli, roast saddle of lamb with cumin crust and a banana and date pudding with pecan crumble and ice cream to finish. However, the menu is seasonal and there are lots more dishes to be enjoyed so be sure to peruse the full menu.

Those looking to dine privately at The Langham Hotel can choose from three different settings, each with its own character. The most intimate of the three is Postillion. This room boasts high ceilings and enormous windows, bathing it in natural light and offering charming views of All Souls Church, as well as glamorous interiors thanks to David Collins Studio. Postillion offers the ideal space in which to host cocktails for up to 35 guests and lunch or dinner for up to 18.

Just one floor below the main lobby, the Private Carriage Rooms vary in size, offering capacities from eight up to 40 diners. These rooms are traditionally styled, named after the horse-drawn carriages favoured by affluent Victorians and most of the Private Carriage Rooms have their very own marble fireplace.

The hotel's original dining room has been the heart and soul of the Langham since its conception. The listed Grand Ballroom served as a renowned venue for extravagant parties, before being carefully restored. Now, it remains a top tier setting for lavish banquets and dances.
