Found in Islington, Radici is a relaxed Italian restaurant that is popular with locals thanks to its menu of comforting Italian staples and cheery staff. Part of the D&D London group (14 Hills, German Gymnasium etc.), Radici boasts two private dining rooms that can be hired out for all manner of events, ranging from private dinners and drinks receptions to canape parties and product launches.
The first private dining space at Radici is the Private Dining Room, which can host up to 16 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 25 guests for a standing reception. The room is a stylish and intimate space which boasts an air of calmness, featuring sage walls, warm lighting and a window which allows glimpses of the activity in the main restaurant.
The second option for private dining at Radici is the Wine Room. This space is a real stand out, featuring a wall adorned with rustic wooden wine shelves and polished metal surfaces which are contrasted with attractive and warm amber lighting. The Wine Room would make for a shrewd choice for smaller scale events, such as a dinner with friends, a business meeting where you are looking to impress clients or a wine tasting experience. The Wine Room can accommodate up to 10 guests for a sit-down meal, or up to 30 for a standing drinks reception.
Radici’s menu is divided up into the traditional Italian format of antipasti, primi, secondi, contorni and dolci, plus a section dedicated to pizza. Highlights from the offering include main courses of paccheri lamb ragout with Grana Padano or spaghetti with spicy king prawns, tomato and herbs, followed by panna cotta and strawberry for dessert. It is also worth noting that both rooms are available to book without a minimum spend applied.
