Bringing a flavour of New York and Paris to Canary Wharf London, private dining at Brasserie Marceline follows a classic style, with a relaxed, modern twist. Whether you're eating indoors in the chic saloon or on the waterside terrace, the team at Brasserie Marceline love to host your special occasions, with private dining areas carved out perfectly for the occasion. The Dining Room, for instance, has space for 85 of your guests, and several locations suitable for group dining.
The weekend brunch begins with bread and bites, like saucisson from Cobble Lane with winter pickles, oysters and shallot mignonette, and baked camembert with beetroot and onion chutney. There's always a soup of the day, and warm bread is free-flowing. Something that we really love about the menu is that every day there's a special dish. On Monday it's the pasta of the day, followed by a daily catch on Tuesdays, and on Saturday, you'll enjoy the Marceline hot dog.
If you’re looking to do things the more traditional way, head to the starters first. There's a warm cheese souffle with gruyere cream and truffle, steak tartare with watercress, mint and artichoke crisps, and escargot de Bourgogne with garlic parsley butter and hazelnuts. The main dishes include an avocado croissant with poached eggs and chilli, eggs Benedict with Parisian ham, and French toast with blueberry compote, lemon and chantilly.
Nibbles, dishes of the day and starters are the same whether you're visiting for weekend brunch or eating off the restaurant’s a la carte menu. There's also a section dedicated to salads, with the delicious green salad filled with avocado, pink grapefruit, radish, tarragon, honey and Champagne vinaigrette. There are sandwiches like a lobster prawn roll and croque monsieur, along with delicious mains of rotisserie chicken, moules mariniere and trout with brown butter, almond and lemon.
