Located in an unassuming Chelsea townhouse, Kutir blends London elegance with authentic Indian flavours, offering a delightful spot for your next private dinner. The beautiful setting feels cosy and luxurious, with decor that is inspired by India's stunning mountainscape. Then there's the menu, which takes its inspiration from India’s rich heritage and diverse landscapes. The dishes bring to life the tales of South Asian cuisine, making it a fantastic choice for special occasions. Private dining at Kutir is perfect to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, big events at work, and everything in between.
Sariska and Ranthambore are the two stunning private dining rooms at Kutir. The first seats between 12 and 14 guests, while the latter serves smaller parties of eight to nine guests. If you've got an even bigger guest list in mind, you can hire the Conservatory on the ground floor, which can hold a maximum of 30 guests. You can work with the team to set the tables up in a fashion that suits you, and chat through your ideas for the event so that the kitchen can craft you a bespoke menu.
The Jaltarang Expedition menu begins with a delightful amuse bouche, followed by soft shell crab with pepper fry and string hopper. Next up it's the lobster in southern spices with brioche, and a tandoori salmon mooli with raita and breakfast radish pickle. Full swing into the mains, you'll enjoy a pan seared sea bass with neelgiri, jaggery and yoghurt rice, or wild jumbo prawns in coconut and curry leaf – both served with tadka dal, steamed rice and breads. The final course is a sweet delight of chocolate valrhona ganache with peanut crumble and hazelnut, or the rose cassata with cranberry jelly and pink peppercorn.
