Launched in partnership with the Good Food Society, Frescobaldi is the first restaurant and bar opened from the famous Tuscan family in London.
The menu, created by Chef Francesco Migliorin, has notable influences from Northern Italy right the way down to regions like Puglia, which is famous for producing the majority of Italy’s olive oil and durum wheat. All bread served in the restaurant is handmade using Laudemio olive oil, which is produced by the Frescobaldi estates in Tuscany, and the pasta is handmade by the chefs daily. Dishes include hand cut pappardelle with fresh Morel mushrooms and beef cheek sauce but the menu changes regularly in order to showcase seasonal, fresh ingredients.
Given the Frescobaldi family’s 700-year rich history of winemaking, it is perhaps no surprise that to accompany the food there is an extensive wine list. Several bottles from the Frescobaldi estate make an appearance and there is an excellent selection available by the glass. For those who prefer a cocktail or two, Frescobaldi have you covered. There are 16 different Martini’s to choose from plus the team’s own creations including a Bellini-style drink made from passionfruit puree, vanilla essence and the Frescobaldi Danzante prosecco.
The venue is stylish, intimate and chic with painted figures from Italian history scattered throughout. It’s the perfect place to experience a true, authentic taste of Italy without having to catch a flight! Your meal can be hosted in the oak-panelled dining room which sits up to 70 people for lunch or dinner or the cocktail bar and private dining area seats up to 35 for lunch or dinner and 40 if standing.
Exclusive hire is possible, simply contact the team to receive all of the details. They are also able to assist with food and drink suggestions to ensure everyone in your party leaves feeling satisfied.
