All is calm, refined elegance at this posh private members’ club in the heart of Mayfair, and that is certainly the case too with this equally plush and very comfortable dining room. With room for up to 16 guests, this is the perfect place for treating a select group of friends, family, clients, or colleagues.
The space is contemporary with a classic edge, decked out in pleasingly soft tones and filled with rich furnishings. The team here are on hand to ensure every detail of your day goes to plan and can advise on various setups and styles. They will work with you on the big ideas – like table arrangement – through to the tiny details, like napkins, to get just the right vibe, whatever the occasion.
You’ll be in good hands with the well-trained staff and the menu is a mix of please-all international favourites. While the kitchen will happily work with you on a bespoke basis, the regular line up of dishes features global flavours. The menu is split into modern European, Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern and Japanese sections. Starters might bring a tuna tartare with a black truffle dressing, a lobster martini or fried crispy okra, for instance. Pick between mains like chicken biryani, aromatic crispy duck, or chargrilled kebabs. Sweets include combinations such as a lavender panna cotta or a pear and chocolate crumble with custard. All budgets considered, but you can eat very well here for under £100 per head.
Drinks wise, there’s something for every taste and budget too. While you can push the boat out with the more rarefied, big-name, largely Old World wines, you can also drink well at the more affordable end of the list. The team are always happy to pair wines to your chosen courses, or give advice on good combinations should you need it.
