With its world-famous macarons and croissants, Paris is a hub of activity for food-lovers, with several renowned restaurants in the city. One such restaurant, Virtus, is making a very special trip to London next month on Monday 17 July to visit Zoilo in Marylebone, where the team will be cooking up a feast. On Monday 17 July, the Virtus team will be flying over to London to take over the kitchen at Argentine restaurant Zoilo for one night only. Virtus chef patrons Chiho Kanzaki and Marcelo Di Giacomo will join Zoilo’s chef patron Diego Jacquet (pictured below), bringing their impressive restaurant backgrounds with them (both are protégés of Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, from Mirazur in Menton, France). The team will curate a five-course tasting menu that plays on the Japanese and Argentine roots of the three chefs, while they have also brought along sommelier Paz Levinson, who is ranked number four in the world for her trade and has previous experience at the three Michelin-starred restaurant in Hotel Le Bristol. Levinson will pair each course with a wine, beer or cocktail, securing this as a night to remember…or not.

Black mule carpaccio with fresh cherries
Catch of the day, grilled apricot, watercress and curry
