StreetSmart launches new book to celebrate 20th anniversary

Homelessness charity StreetSmart celebrates its 20th anniversary this November. Every year, the charity runs a campaign which raises money for homeless people by adding £1 per table to diner’s bills at participating London restaurants. Since its conception, the StreetSmart campaign has raised £8.2 million, one hundred percent of which goes towards grass roots projects tackling homelessness, a growing issue across the country. The campaign began two decades ago with a handful of supporters in Soho, but has now grown to include over 500 participating restaurants, such as St John, The River Café, Polpo and Barrafina.
