New York hotelier Michael Achenbaum’s first European venture, The Curtain, opens on 26 May.
Both a members club and hotel, the property exudes industrial chic. Its 120 rooms and suites are adorned with images from music photographer Mick Rock.
For events, The Ballroom can host 200 seated or 350 standing, and comes with its own event planner. Harlem institution Red Rooster is looking after the restaurant. Its signature Deep Southern classics – famously enjoyed by Barack Obama stateside - fill the menu, and there’s a top-notch private room for up to 14.
