SquareMeal review of
Leicester Tigers Rugby - Hospitality
Leicester seemingly benefited more than most from union turning professional in 1995 and have since been rarely far from the top spot in the Guinness Premiership. They have also enjoyed success in
the Heineken Cup - Europe's elite club competition - winning their first title in 2001 against Paris side Stade Francais 34-30 in the French club's back yard. Their Welford Road stadium holds
16,500 fans, making it the biggest purpose-built rugby venue in the domestic game, but the Tigers have plans to redevelop and one day roar in front of even more fans.
