The Cheltenham Festival is the highlight of the jump season, with a year’s worth of pent-up anticipation unleashed over four days. The festival comprises 26 races and around 500 horses, all competing for a share of the £3m purse. The event has something for everyone including Champions Day on the opening Tuesday, Ladies Day on Wednesday (don’t forget your hats), St Patrick’s celebrations on Thursday and, of course, Friday’s grand finale of the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Overlooking the final furlong, The Front Runners Restaurant and Private Suites are well positioned for hospitality guests to watch their winners come in. Each 40-capacity suite has a private balcony offering a prime view of the racecourse and the Gloucestershire countryside. There’s space for tables of 8-10 diners in each suite and every day a guest jockey will be on hand to guide them through the race card. Keith Prowse offers all official hospitality packages during the festival.
The Cheltenham Festival runs from 8-11 March 2016.
