Mr Cooper’s House & Garden is hosting another of its popular wine dinners - as if you needed an excuse to head up to Manchester to dine at Simon Rogan’s restaurant in the city’s historic Midland hotel.
The special dinner, which takes place on 5 May, will focus on wines produced by the pioneering winery Grüber Röschitz in the vast and highly-regarded wine-growing region of Niederosterreich, Austria. This family-run winery has been making wine (Gruner Veltliner, the area’s hero grape variety, known as ‘GrüVe’ to its mates) since 1814.
Guests can sit down to a five-course meal, each course paired with a different wine from Grüber Röschitz. These will be introduced by Amathus Drinks, the national distributor for the winery.
This event takes place on Thursday 5 May and costs £65, including wines. To book, call 0161 932 4128.
