Why Wales's Tyddyn Llan has five reasons to celebrate

Tyddyn Llan restaurant North Wales

This autumn, anyone who is anyone in the wine world and beyond will be visiting Snowdonia’s Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms, Tyddyn Llan, as part of a series of special events the venue has planned. From winemakers at some of the world’s biggest wineries and Champagne houses to household names such as BBC Radio 2’s Johnnie Walker, Tyddyn Llan’s owners are welcoming the great and the good to celebrate 14 years in the business.

On 9 October, Tyddyn Llan’s co-owner and chef, Bryan Webb, will cook luxurious lobster and grouse dishes that will be paired with Bibendum wines in an evening led by Bibendum’s Simon Awdry.

On 25 October, DJ Johnnie Walker will host a special charity wine dinner in aid of Carers UK.

On 1 November, the restaurant’s annual Champagne dinner, hosted by Louis Roederer’s Guy Cliffe, will take place.

And to round things off on 15 November, Bryan and his wife Susan will celebrate 14 years at the helm of their restaurant, as well as a full decade’s partnership with Ludlow-based wine merchant Bentley’s; the evening will feature a tutored tasting of wines from the Bentley’s cellar.

These events all cost £95, including wines. Diners can take advantage of a reduced room rate of £60 (based on two sharing) on the night of each event. To book your place, call 01490 440264.
