On 30 September, patissier Eric Lanlard will host the next Food & Film event at the Charlotte Street Hotel.
This is the second in the Food & Film series, in which a food personality introduces a foodie film, screened to viewers in the hotel’s private cinema.
Lanlard has chosen the Oscar-winning Babette’s Feast – a tribute to the artistic process inherent to cookery – as his film.
‘The story showcases the passion and appreciation of the French people for food and cooking,’ said Lanlard. ‘I love the opulence of the scenes that feature the arrival of the ingredients.’
As usual, the evening will be followed by an audience Q&A, book signing and a three-course dinner in the hotel’s Oscar restaurant, cooked by Lanlard and Firmdale Hotels’ executive head chef
Food & Film kicks off at 6.30pm. Tickets cost £39, including the screening and a three-course dinner at Oscar Restaurant. To book tickets, contact the Charlotte Street Hotel on 020 7980 1007.
