Could you handle a 16-course meal, with dishes cooked by six of the world’s most renowned chefs? That’s the premise behind Walk With Us London, an unprecedented chef collaboration masterminded by chefs’ collective Gelinaz in conjunction with The Clove Club’s Isaac McHale (2015 winner of our BMW Restaurant of the Year) and James Lowe from Lyle’s - two old friends who used to be known as The Young Turks.
The event will take place at the hosts’ restaurants simultaneously, with 14 chefs in total cooking up a feast for 50 guests apiece. McHale and Lowe will each cook a four-course meal for their guests, using their own interpretations of the same set of ingredients. Their six guests chefs, working in pairs, will do the same, meaning that over the course of the evening diners will be treated to 16 accomplished and unusual courses.
The chefs cooking at each restaurant – and their pairings – will be assigned on the night. Chefs taking part in this event include Britain’s Claude Bosi from Hibiscus and Margot Henderson from Rochelle Canteen, alongside international stars such as Mauro Colagreco from Mirazur in southern France, and Petter Nilsson from Spritmuseum in Stockholm.
