The Very Best of Scotland in Westminster

Fancy going to Scotland, but don’t have the time or the money? Don’t worry, just make sure you book yourself a space to this authentic Scottish evening at City Inn Westminster’s City Café in January, the perfect teaser for the run-up to Burns Night. After a cocktail and canapé reception, guests can enjoy a four-course dinner and a tutored malt tasting accompanied by the sounds of City Inn’s own bagpiper. Dishes include carpaccio of cured venison served with poached apple and fig and spiced biscotti, roast saddle of Buccleuch lamb, haggis, turnips and potatoes and chocolate fondant with chocolate malt ice cream. Colin Dunn, a recognised expert in the world of Scottish malts, will present each whisky, which will feature a rich and complex 25-year-old Bowmore and a 14-year-old Oban.
