In celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Ivy, Academy Award-winning screenwriter Sir Ronald Harwood has written a
play, Heavenly Ivy, which will be performed at the restaurant from 8-12 November.
Penned by Sir Ronald, who picked up an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for Holocaust drama The Pianist, and directed by Sean Mathias, who brought together Sir Ian McKellen and Patrick
Stewart in Waiting for Godot last year, the play will celebrate The Ivy’s long-standing status in the heart of London’s Theatreland.
Tables at the restaurant during the five nights will undoubtedly be the hottest property in town, but for those hardy or famous enough to give it a go, contact the restaurant on 020 7836 4751.
