An exhibition at The Mandeville Hotel from 26-27 February will celebrate John Lennon in the year that would have seen him turn 70.
The exhibition will showcase prints of sketches hand-drawn by the musician, 30 of which are signed by Yoko Ono. Lennon’s sketches draw inspiration from his everyday life with Yoko and their son,
Julian. Four of the prints have never been seen before in Europe. The original works, many of which are still owned by Ono, are valued at more than £1.5million. The limited-edition prints – which
are collectors’ items – will be on sale from £800.
To complement the exhibition, The Mandeville Hotel is hosting John Lennon-inspired men’s afternoon teas, serving Lennon’s favourite drink – The Panama cocktail, a mixture of Cognac, white crème de
cacao, and cream.
