On Wednesday 24 October, Mayfair’s Babbo restaurant will relaunch its Italian wine-tasting programme for another season. This time around, guests can enjoy a four-course dinner, with each course
matched with complementary wines from the Produttori del Barbaresco co-operative in the Piedmont region of Italy.
The evening will be led by Aldo Vacca, the director of the co-operative, who will guide guests through each wine.
The menu will include lamb sweetbreads with Savoy cabbage and beetroot purée, risotto with Castelmagno cheese, beef fillet with spinach, and Piedmont cheese and golden-raisin purée.
The event costs £75 per person and is limited to 10 guests. To make a reservation, call 020 3205 1099 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Babbo’s next wine-tasting event will be held on Monday 19 November.
