The Serpentine Gallery’s The Magazine restaurant will play host to a spring champagne and food event with Perrier-Jouët on Thursday 20 March.
To celebrate the start of the season, the restaurant’s head chef Oliver Lange has devised a menu to match Champagnes provided by the house. Dishes include sea bream tartare with a fennel and Belle
Epoque jelly and chicken with kimchi pears and a black rice crisp.
The night is to begin with a Champagne and canapé reception, with guests encouraged to dress in cocktail wear for the occasion. Exclusive Champagnes will be unveiled throughout the evening, some of
which are hard to come by in the UK, and Perrier-Jouët’s chef de cave Hervé Deschamps will be available to offer tasting notes to guests.
