South African Wine Tasting Dinner

Help people from hunger and malnutrition by heading to Vivat Bacchus during Restaurants Against Hunger Week, a week when restaurants across UK try to raise customers’ awareness of world hunger by organising special menus, events and promotions. The restaurant will be holding a South African wine tasting dinner, with tickets costing £95 each, over £50 of which will be donated to the international humanitarian charity Action Against Hunger. For this price you will be able to enjoy a five-course dinner, perhaps including pan fried sea bass with vanilla and chenin cream paired with a glass of Forrester Meinert Chenin 2002, or roast saddle of lamb, rosemary rosti and baby vegetables washed down with a glass of Meinert Devon Crest 2001. Guests will also get the chance to listen to the internationally acclaimed winemaker Martin Meinert, who is the host of the evening.
