After the success of last year’s Social Sunday, Jason Atherton and the head chefs of The Social Company are to open their kitchens once again on Sunday 5 June, all in aid of Hospitality action.
Culinary heavyweights Claude Bosi, Tom Kerridge and Sat Baines will join Jason at Mayfair flagship Pollen Street Social, presenting a five-course tasting menu.
Meanwhile at Little Social, Cary Docherty will team up with Frenchie’s Greg Marchand for a six-course menu including drinks and canapés.
Over in Marylebone, Social Wine & Tapas head chef Frankie Van Loo will team up with Barrafina’s executive chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho to celebrate the best of London’s tapas, while at City Social, Paul Walsh will be joined by 100 Wardour St’s Liam Smith-Laing for a five-course mash-up.
Soho’s Social Eating House will collaborate with Tom Sellers (Restaurant Story) for a six-course meal, while Sosharu in Clerkenwell will be previewing the omakase-style menu to be served at its forthcoming chef’s table project, Kisetsu.
Sounds like a lot? Well, there’s more: Jason Atherton will host a five-course private dinner for 16 on Monday 6 April in The London Edition hotel’s penthouse, with Berners Tavern chef Phil Carmichael.
Tickets are priced at between £90 and £500 per head, with all proceeds going to Hospitality Action.
