If you’re down for dining with a cause, book a place at Social Pantry’s upcoming charity supper club, on Wednesday 26 April in Shoreditch. The evening will see top London chefs Adam Handling (The Frog), Alex Head (Social Pantry Café), Anna Barnett (food contributor for Grazia), Richard Falk and Robin Gill (both from The Dairy) and Lee Westcott (Typing Room) all join forces with young offender charity Key4Life.
The charity will pick five young ex-offenders who have shown an interest in the food industry, then partner each with one of the chefs to help prepare, cook and serve the evening’s five-course meal.
The aim is to help lower reoffending rates and improve job prospects for former prisoners, which sounds seriously worthwhile to us.
Social Pantry’s Key4Life supper club takes place on Wednesday 26 April from 6.30pm, in Shoreditch events space Calvert 22. Tickets cost £50, to book visit Designmynight.com.
