Sixth annual Grey Goose Winter Ball to benefit Elton John AIDS Foundation

Battersea Power Station 2011

Grey Goose vodka brand and the Elton John AIDS Foundation will be hosting its sixth annual Winter Ball. The event, held on Saturday 10 November, will be themed around a 1950s’ Côte d’Azur summer.

Grey Goose will be serving cocktails created especially for the event – this year, by a number of artists, including singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé (poolside martini - a combination of Grey Goose Le Citron, vanilla and thyme) and musician and record producer Labrinth (‘une journée a la plage’ - with banana liqueur, coconut, pineapple and lime).

Guests will be treated to a Mediterranean dinner prepared by The Connaught’s Michelin-starred head chef, Hélène Darroze. The auction and entertainment will follow with performances by Sandé and Labrinth.

The Winter Ball, which kicks off with cocktails and canapés at 7:30pm, aims to raise funds for the foundation, adding to the £2.3m raised from previous balls. The benefit will take place at the Battersea Power Station in south London. Tickets start from £450 and will be available to buy from 100% of proceeds will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
