On Friday 17 May, the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) will co-host a six-course wine-and-food-matching dinner with Mitch Tonks at the chef’s award-winning flagship restaurant, The
Seahorse, in Dartmouth.
The evening aims to give diners an insight into more unusual wines and how to match them with food. Wines to look forward to include Conte Brandolini’s Traminer, from Friuli, a Recioto di
Valpolicella from Corteforte, and a Manzanilla sherry from San Leon – all chosen by The Seahorse’s sommelier, Tim McLaughlin-Green, in collaboration with the WSET’s Russell Dent. The wines will
accompany a tailor-made menu created by Tonks.
