This January Simon Rogan will spend a week at L’Enclume’s sister restaurant, Rogan & Co in Cumbria, as part of Rogan’s Week. He will be serving a menu inspired by the early days of L’Enclume, which went on to earn two Michelin stars. Dishes will include his signature the coney’s cornet and the Surrealist’s nitro slammer (yikes). More recent creations will also be available, including hot-and-sour soup and shorthorn beef with paprika and pistachio. To finish, there’s the wow-factor Expearamenthol Frappé dessert: espresso powder and eucalyptus foam atop pear jelly.
Rogan’s Week takes place at Rogan & Co in Cumbria from 9-15 January. The five-course set lunch menu costs £50, while the 10-course set dinner menu costs £90. To book, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01539 535917.
