To coincide with the release of the forthcoming film Sex and the City 2, Marble Arch hotel Hyatt Regency London The Churchill is offering an ultimate afternoon tea for fans of the much-loved
series. Created with all four girl characters in mind, the tea includes an option of tickets to a showing of the film at the newly refurbished Everyman Baker Street cinema. Guests who choose this
option will also enjoy a chauffeur-driven one-way trip from the hotel to the cinema.
The tea will include savoury New York-influenced dishes such as pastrami on rye, mini New York bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, mini Jack burgers (named after Jack Berger, one of
character Carrie’s boyfriends) and mini New York hot dogs with mustard.
Sweet items will include a selection of mini pastries created with each of the four girl characters in mind. For Carrie, there’s a strawberry-flavoured chocolate pink stiletto; for Charlotte, a
mini pink strawberry cupcake; for Samantha an appletini jelly in a mini martini glass; and for Miranda, her favourite diet food, mini glazed doughnuts.
In recognition of the girls’ love of cocktails, the afternoon tea will come accompanied by one of their favourite drinks, with a choice of a cosmopolitan, a Manhattan, a flirtini (champagne, vodka
and pineapple juice) or a classic martini with an olive. Guests can also choose from a selection of teas including Sapphire Earl Grey, Darjeeling 2nd Flush, organic Bohea Lapsang and organic silver
The Sex and the City afternoon tea will be served every day Friday 28 May to Tuesday 31 August from 3-6pm, priced at £39 per person, or £55 including a ticket to see the film at the Everyman Baker
Street cinema via a chauffeur-driven car. For reservations, call 020 7299 2037 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
