Those not in the know may think of tomatoes as an all-year-round treat, but talk to top chefs and they’ll only use the little red fruits in the height of the British season, when they are at their

Which is why Axis restaurant at One Aldwych hotel is running special tomato dishes from 8-24 July. Expect
courses such as chilled tomato consommé with basil and poached langoustines, and basil crème brûlée with candied tomatoes. Diners can opt for one of the dishes while dining à la carte. For full
