This summer chef Jun Tanaka will host three alfresco seafood masterclasses and barbecues in the courtyard of the Renaissance London Chancery Court Hotel, home to Tanaka’s Pearl Restaurant and Bar.
Guests will be welcomed to the courtyard – which will be closed to the public during the class – with a glass of Veuve Clicquot. They can then watch Tanaka demonstrates a series of sophisticated
seafood dishes with which to impress friends at a barbecue, such as scallops baked in the shell with lime, chilli and yuzu, or rosemary-smoked mackerel with horseradish crème fraîche. The chef will
answer cooking questions during the demonstration, before serving up his dishes for guests to sample.
The events will take place from 12.30-4pm on three Sunday afternoons: 10 July, 31 July and 7 August. Tickets cost £45, including a glass of Champagne. Call 020 7829 7000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book tickets.
