Salt Yard hosts lazy Sunday lunch inspired by the Basque Country

Spain’s Basque country is an international gourmet haven, and its capital, San Sebastián, boasts more Michelin stars per square metre than anywhere else in the world.

Inspired by this culinary titan, Salt Yard has devised a seven-course wine dinner featuring classic dishes from the Basque region. Diners can tuck into traditional Basque dishes such as hake pil pil, tuna marmitako (a Basque fish stew), or lamb shank braised in Txakoli, the region’s famous, slightly sparkling wine. Each dish will be paired with wine from small- and large-scale local producers.

The Basque Country lunch will take place on Sunday 14 April. Tickets cost £70, including all food and wine. To book your ticket, contact
